The 2nd block seminar on Module 4 “Transdisciplinary research methods for sustainable agriculture” of Erasmus+ project “Improving postgraduate education in agriculture and agro-systems of the future” (SAGRIS) was held at Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University.

As part of the block workshop, the teachers, who had previously been trained at the German Institute for Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture (DITSL), tested the knowledge gained in Germany, delivered lectures, and conducted trainings on transdisciplinary research in agriculture.

While participating in the workshop block, the participants visited the veterinary clinic and ichthyology and aquaculture laboratory of WKAU named after Zhangir Khan and were introduced to the projects: “Services for keeping and deworming, identification, sterilization, vaccination of neglected dogs and cats around the city”, “Providing fish farmers with planting material” and visited “SAYAT” ethno-tourist centre (equestrian centre).
