A meeting of the Steering Committee for the project «Enhancement of Postgraduate Studies on Sustainable Agriculture and Future Farming Systems (SAGRIS)» was held at the University of Nürtingen-Geislingen, February 6-7, 2020. The meeting was attended by the local project coordinator from WKATU Irina Bogdashkina. She presented a presentation of the university and WKATU working group. The Steering Committee meeting served to address the following challenges: 1. Planning the initial stage of the project before the Kick-off conference: clarification of project activities, tasks on work packages, review of the schedule for the implementation of activities and fixing dates and events, especially at the initial stage of the project and in the working order for the first year of the project; 2. Informing on the formal requirements and requirements of the consortium established by the Executive Agency (partnership agreement); 3. Creation of a project management structure: creation of a Steering Committee, allocation of roles, tasks, responsibilities and development of decision-making procedures, roles and participation of project partners, the main means of communication and project coordination. 4. Development of a quality control plan: clarification of the objectives of the quality control plan, distribution of responsibility, development of a quality control plan, assessment procedures and indicators. The first meeting became a lasting platform for meeting all the consortium members and working out the main stages of the project.
